The results of studies may not be applicable or transferable if the interventions compared are very different from those of interest.

For example, comparing an intervention to an approach that is not commonly used in schools does not provide a good estimate of how the intervention compares to common practice.

Be aware that interventions available to you may be very different from those in the research studies.
