What is the problem and what are your options?

When you are thinking about choices for intervention, make sure that you understand what the environmental problem is and what your choices are.

To make a good decision, you need to understand what the problem is and what your choices are for addressing that problem.

You need to know what interventions are available for the problem you are trying to address.

Some decisions need to be made by groups of people, for example if the problem is what to do avoid local pollution events from happening. For those decisions, the people involved need to first make sure they understand what the problem is and how important it is. Then they need to know what intervention (options) there are for the problem.

REMEMBER: Make sure that you understand what the problem is and what your choices are.
