Management
Conflicting interests may result in misleading claims about the effects of interventions
Many claims in management are made by consultants from prestigious management consulting firms. However, people with an interest in promoting a particular intervention, technique or model (such as making money), may exaggerate its benefits and ignore potential negative side-effects.
Always check if people making claims that an intervention is effective have conflicting interests. If they have, be careful not to be misled by their claims about the effects of interventions.
BEWARE
of claims made by people who have conflicting interests.
