Managers, leaders, and consultants often exaggerate the benefits of management interventions and ignore or downplay potential harms. However, few interventions are without (negative) side-effects.
Always consider the possibility that a management intervention, technique or model may have negative side-effects, especially when the intervention is new and the evidence is limited.
