If someone got better after receiving an intervention does not necessarily mean that the intervention made them better.
People often believe that someone who got better after receiving an intervention did so because of the intervention. People may also believe that if someone got worse after receiving an intervention, it was because of the intervention.
Although a person got better after using an intervention, it may not have been caused by the intervention. It’s possible they would have gotten better without the intervention. It also does not mean that giving another person the same intervention will work for them.
BEWARE when someone says: “It worked for me.”
REMEMBER, someone’s personal experience of success using an intervention does not necessarily mean that the intervention made them better or worse.
